Volunteers’ Week 2020

Date:

Today marks the start of Volunteers’ Week; a chance to say thank you to our volunteer advisers who work so hard to help us resolve people’s pension disputes. We have over 200 volunteer advisers who work on different types of cases, such as overpayments, delays, ill health and death benefits; they make a real difference to people’s lives.
Anthony Arter, Pensions Ombudsman said:

"Our volunteers provide invaluable support to our organisation. Last year they helped us resolve over 2,000 disputes. This is an outstanding achievement and we would not be able to help so many of our customers, without their hard work and dedication. Volunteers’ Week is a fantastic opportunity for us to honour our very own volunteers."
