Action Fraud launches new campaign to #ProtectYourPension

Today Action Fraud has launched a new national campaign to highlight the importance of doing research before making any changes to pension arrangements. So far this year, £1.8 million has been lost through pension fraud.

Anthony Arter, Pensions Ombudsman said:

“Scams can be devastating for people and at The Pensions Ombudsman, we welcome Action Fraud’s campaign to help people protect their pensions. It is vital that people learn how to recognise potential scams and remain cautious before making a decision in respect of their pensions.”
