Volunteers' Week 2021

Date:

Today marks the beginning of Volunteers’ Week 2021. At The Pensions Ombudsman (TPO) we have a network of 200 Volunteer Advisers who form part of our Early Resolution Service, helping to resolve pension complaints informally at an early stage. We would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all our Volunteer Advisers for their hard work.

Anthony Arter, Pensions Ombudsman said:

“We are very proud to be the only Ombudsman service to have a network of volunteers. Our Volunteer Advisers are all pension professionals, with 10 years of industry experience (or five years with a pensions qualification). They generously give their time and expertise to make a difference to people’s lives by helping to resolve their pension disputes. Last year, they helped us to resolve over 1,400 complaints.

We are always looking for suitably qualified industry professionals, with pensions knowledge to join our network and continue to make a difference to our customers. If you would like to join us, please contact us.”
