Outcome
Mr W’s complaint against MyCSP and Cabinet Office is partly upheld. To put matters right, Cabinet Office shall pay Mr W £500 for significant distress and inconvenience.
Complaint summary
Mr W says his Permanent Injury Benefit (PIB) appeal has not been properly considered in accordance with the applicable Civil Service Pensions Medical Appeals and Review Guide (the MRAG).
Mr W also says that MyCSP and Cabinet Office decisions at Stage One and Stage Two of the Internal Dispute Resolution Procedure (IDRP) were delayed causing him distress and inconvenience.
