Outcome
Mr N’s complaint against CSP is partly upheld. To put matters right, CSP shall pay Mr N £1,000 for the serious distress and inconvenience he has experienced.
Complaint summary
There are two parts to Mr N’s complaint. The first part concerns the overpayment of benefits he received and how CSP recovered the overpayment. The second part concerns the Widows and Dependants Pension (W&D) and Additional Service Pension (ASP) refunds, Mr N was entitled to, when he retired. He would also like someone held responsible for the errors made in the calculation of his benefits.
