New deputy ombudsman appointed
The Minister for Pensions, Steve Webb, has confirmed the appointment of Karen Johnston as Deputy Pensions Ombudsman and Deputy Pension Protection Fund Ombudsman.
Tony King, the present Ombudsman, said:
I welcome Karen’s appointment, which completes a strong new team at the top of the organisation, to take over after Jane Irvine, the present Deputy Ombudsman, and I stand down in May.
