Mrs R’s complaint is that she has been refused ill health retirement from the date her employment with the Council ended.
Mr E’s complaint is upheld and to put matters right the Cabinet Office should review their 2012 decision to backdate his revised award to 2008. They shall also pay him £500 for distress and inconvenience.
My reasons for reaching this decision are explained in more detail below.
Mr E has complained that he has not been awarded level 1 injury benefits backdated to January 1997.
Mr N’s complaint is that the Trustees have failed to correctly follow the previous determination issued in July 2014 (the Determination) and have refused to award him an ill health pension.
Mr R’s complaint is upheld and to put matters right Veterans UK should review the decision not to pay Mr R’s benefits early under article 3061(2).

Mr E complains that BT, his former employer, refused to award him BT’s medical retirement benefits.
Mrs B’s complaint is upheld and to put matters right Barclays shall consider again whether Mrs B satisfied the criteria for ill health retirement at the date her employment was terminated and pay Mrs B £500 for distress and inconvenience caused.

Mrs B’s complaint is that she has been refused ill health retirement from the date her employment ended.
Mrs N’s complaint against TVP is partly upheld, but there is a part of the complaint I do not agree with. To put matters right (for the part that is upheld) TVP should pay £1,000 to Mrs N.
